Secure Software Lifecycle Management

The Dutch government and industry succeed in making software security measurable, manageable and controllable during its lifecycle.

Recent years developers of software, end users, professional bodies, institutes for research and education and the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate cooperated to develop a framework to make security of software measurable, manageable and controllable during the whole lifecycle. This framework for Secure Software Lifecycle Management was published in 2015 and has been applied since then in different context. Parties using this framework can provide assurance to the user of software that during the whole lifecycle software is safe for the context in which software is used and the risks a user is willing to accept.
