Integrating IT Governance for a Secure Future
Join us for an insightful evening dedicated to enhancing IT governance for a secure future at the event “Integrating IT Governance for a Secure Future” on the 14 of October 2024 from 17:00 to 21:30 co-hosted by ISACA Belgium Chapter, ISACA Netherlands Chapter, and Antwerp Management School with the cooperation of the Cybersecurity Security Coalition, Secure Software Alliance and Beltug.
This event aims to bring together leading experts and professionals in the field of IT governance, sharing their knowledge and experience in the context of governmental institutions.
The primary objective is to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and strategies in IT governance, highlighting the importance of effective management in achieving organizational objectives and maximizing IT value.
A well-structured IT governance framework, such as COBIT, can significantly contribute to the success of governmental institutions. However, the implementation of COBIT in the public sector presents unique challenges. Governmental environments are dynamic and involve various stakeholders and organizational partnerships, making the implementation process complex. Furthermore, gaining sufficient attention for COBIT is a challenge, not only among IT professionals but also among top-level management.
Therefore, we are launching a research program that will specifically focus on the role of IT governance within governmental institutions. This program aims to shed light on crucial concerns and issues related to creating substantial value through exceptional IT governance. We cordially invite you to participate in this engaging discussion, regardless of your role in IT management, cybersecurity, or governance. Attending this event will provide you with valuable insights to stay ahead in this rapidly evolving field.
